Your dead bug collection will include a cicada, large and small flies, wasps and bees, beetles of small, medium and large size and different colors, true bugs and leafhoppers, ants, a cockroach (when available), a mayfly, and a grasshopper, katydid and /or cricket. I've been collecting all summer and I have a huge variety of showy and common insects. You will get at least 12 orders, and most or all of your specimens will belong to separate families- enough variety to satisfy any school requirement. These are all common insects and a guide sheet with color illustrations will be included to make identification a matter of matching the insect with the picture.
