ANTIQUE ATHOL MACHINE CO NO. 500 SQUARE This antique Athol Machine Company square is in good used condition. The rule shows noticeable wear and staining but the scales remain readable. The head moves freely on the rule and locks down tight. The bubble level is whole and working correctly. The scribe is among the missing. The square was made in the early 1900s in the U.S.A. by the Athol Machine Co which was acquired by Laroy S. Starrett in 1905. The rule is marked: No 500 ATHOL MCH CO. ATHOL MASS. U.S.A.
